Catherine A. Duran, Professor of Practice, Rawls college of Business, Texas Tech University

Catherine A. Duran, a professor of practice in Marketing at Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business, holds a Ph.D. in Strategy/Organizational Theory, an MBA from Texas Tech, and an MS in Medical Microbiology from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She recently served as vice provost for student affairs, overseeing numerous student services and development programs, and previously as associate dean of Rawls College. An award-winning educator recognized as "Honors Professor of the Year" and twice as "Mortar Board Professor of the Year," Duran teaches undergraduate and graduate courses with an emphasis on student engagement, often incorporating service-learning projects that connect students with community partners.

Emily Phillips, Lecturer, Rawls College of Business, Texas Tech University

Emily Phillips, an instructor at Texas Tech University's Jerry S. Rawls College of Business who earned both her MBA and BBA from the institution, combines over 10 years as a wine industry business owner with 15-plus years of academic experience to deliver practical, real-world education. In her teaching, she bridges the gap between theoretical business concepts ("the should") and workplace realities ("the is") by incorporating authentic examples from her entrepreneurial background. Phillips maintains high standards of excellence in her classroom, preparing students to make immediate contributions to their future organizations while emphasizing the significant value they bring as Rawls College graduates.

Julie Rebert joined ɫèAV full-time in 2016, after working as an actuarial forecasting specialist in the private sector for three years and teaching higher ed for nearly 25 years. Julie has used MyLab since 2008 in a variety of modalities and has held positions as faculty, department chair, and course coordinator. She now enjoys supporting other instructors as they incorporate MyLab XL into their courses.

Harrison Bass is the Head of Educational Partnerships for Forage, In his role, he provides guidance and support for educators across the country, as they seek to integrate Forage into their curriculum. Harrison has close to ten years of experience working in the workforce development and experiential learning space. Prior to joining Forage, he worked in academic partnerships and student advising at Year Up.
