Speaker Profile
David Albon is Director of International Curriculum, Assessment & Qualifications at ɫèAV, and has been working in international education for over a decade. He regularly visits international schools around the world, speaking on the future of international education and learning from international educators worldwide. David also holds an MBA with a specialism in Leadership Practice.Ìý
Leah Hopkinson is a Product Manager in the International Schools Curriculum team at ɫèAV. She leads on their international iPrimary and iLowerSecondary curriculum and its huge range of supporting resources. She has worked at ɫèAV for 5 years developing high quality resources from ages 3-19 for both UK and International markets. A graduate of University of Birmingham, she is passionate about delivering first-rate resources that help improve outcomes for learners and is currently leading the development of an innovative new primary science programme, putting pupil engagement and progression at the heart of learning.
Boon Teen Ng is the Head of Business Development for South-East Asia. Previously, she was the Regional Manager for ɫèAV Qualification International and the countries under her responsibilities are Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines and Brunei. She is a recognized education and training practitioner that has proven track records of more than 20 years’ experience in all aspects of human performance improvement, educational management, organizational development, business development and marketing. She holds MSc in Human Resource Development from University Putra Malaysia and BA in Media Studies from University Malaya.
Susie Huong Nguyen started her career as a sale executive where she leads various initiative including selling books and identify on demand titles in the market for one of the leading international publishers. Prior to joining ɫèAV, she is also an insight specialist where market research is her expertise. In 2020 Susie relocated back to Viet Nam where she was appointed as the Regional Development Manager to support growth in ɫèAV’s international schools' business in Viet Nam. Susie has a graduate degree in Marketing from Depaul University Chicago, USA and she enjoys swimming and travelling in her free time.
