In 2024, we want to take our annual teacher training program further and offer a deeper dive into effective preparation for PTE Academic.

The "Around the World with PTE Academic 2024" is a series of eight webinars designed for PTE teachers and preparation providers.

These sessions aim to provide the audience with advanced knowledge into some of the most challenging and important aspects of PTE Academic and cover developing advanced skills to maximise the chances of test takers achieving their desired scores.

Bartłomiej Janiak is a Teacher Trainer and Assessment Advisor. He holds a postgraduate diploma in Professional Coaching - Methods and Practice from Kozminski University and a postgraduate diploma in Crisis Psychology and Crisis Intervention, as well as Practical Psychology of Motivation from SWPS University. For over five years, he has been designing and coordinating educational programs with ɫèAV, supporting teachers and test-takers worldwide to enhance performance and learning outcomes.

Kamil Petryk is a Master Trainer at ɫèAV with over a decade of experience. He provides training to teachers and examiners in Europe and Southeast Asia on the ɫèAV English International Certificate. Kamil is also the co-author of the "PTE General Skills Practice" series, essential for comprehensive exam preparation. Additionally, he works as an examiner and teacher, assisting students in preparing for ɫèAV English qualifications.

Kasia is an experienced English assessment product manager with over 10 years of experience in the development and delivery of UK and international products. Including applying strict industry standards, quality assurance and risk management procedures for high-stakes products.

Alex Li is a senior professional consultant for the ɫèAV Test of English (PTE). She has been working in the ESL industry for more than 8 years and has extensive experience in developing courses and learning products for students and teachers. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics with TESOL from the University of Sheffield and a Certificate of Cambridge TKT. She is authorized by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of China as the official trainer for the TEFL program.

Anna has a BA in English and Portuguese, a Master in Education, a PhD in Applied Linguistics, and a TESOL Postgraduate Diploma. She started teaching English as a Foreign Language in 1986 in Montreal, Canada and hasn´t stopped since. In 2000, she started teaching English Proficiency Tests. Currently, she´s a tenured professor in a public college. She has been teaching online since 2008 - in her own words, delighted with the opportunity of meeting and teaching students from all over the world with enthusiasm for learning.

Jay (Jarrad Merlo) is a well known English exam expert from Australia. He was an English teacher before founding E2Language - a popular online test prep website - where he taught a range of English tests, including PTE Academic, for nearly 10 years. His YouTube channels have over 3 million subscribers and his test prep videos have had hundreds of millions of views. He now works for ɫèAV as an AI Product Manager where he works on assessment innovation

Julian Burnley has been a professional in the English Language sector for over 15 years. Formerly with the British Council for over 10 years, he has taught in the UK, Vietnam and South Korea and holds a Cambridge DELTA teaching qualification as well as an MA in Digital Technologies in ELT from the University of Nottingham.
