With 34 years of teaching experience, Belgin is a professor and head of the English Language Teaching Department at TED University, Ankara. She is President of Lingua e Nuova Didattica and VP of Amerigo. An expert in language education, she collaborates with ECML and the Council of Europe on teacher training and publications.

Maria, who has run her own language school, New Globe School of English, in Cordoba since 2008, is a passionate educator focused on curriculum development, innovative CLIL methodologies and exam preparation. She is a member of the IATEFL Teacher Training and Education Special Interest Group.
