Choosing your payment method
When you’re ready to place your order, you can pay using a credit card. If you purchase access to a ɫèAV+ product in a campus store, you may be able to use financial aid.
You can use financial aid to buy a ɫèAV+ access code from your campus store. Then, you’ll redeem your code on pearson.com.
Updating your payment method
If your credit card has expired, you’ll need to add a new payment method in your ɫèAV+ My account.
- Select Manage
- In the Billing section on the plan details page select Update payment infoÌý
- On the Update payment info screen, select the Credit card tab and add your new credit card details
- Then, select Update payment info to save the information
We’ll send you an email and pause your plan if we aren’t able to process your payment. To continue uninterrupted access, be sure to update your payment info. After 8 tries, your plan will be canceled. You can purchase a new plan using a valid payment method.ÌýÌý
Your order may be put on hold if some of your billing details need to be reviewed before you can access your plan. You will not be charged until your order details are confirmed. You will receive an email within about 48 hours of placing your order to let you know if your order has been confirmed.
Orders may be declined because some of your details were flagged for further review or because of a glitch in our system. Try placing your order again using different payment and billing details.
Billing information for eTextbooks & Study Prep in ɫèAV+
When you choose an eTextbook plan, you're signing up for a 6‑month access term. You’ll make an upfront payment for your purchase. After checkout, you’ll be able to use your eTextbook in ɫèAV+.
If you want to buy a different eTextbook, you’ll need to make another purchase on pearson.com.
You can view your current payment method and your plan billing date in your ɫèAV+ account. Just sign in, go to My account, and look for Billing.
Note: To update your existing credit card information, you’ll need to add the card information as if it were new.
