UK Power Networks: celebrating the achievement of their apprentices
by
On 26 June this year, the Royal Leonardo Hotel City London hosted the UK Power Networks (UKPN) Graduation Event.
Graduates dressed in their hats and gowns, excitedly waiting to receive their certificates for completing their apprenticeship from Basil Scarsella, the CEO of UKPN.
The graduation event marked a significant milestone for all attendees, especially for cohort 8, who all achieved a distinction. It clearly demonstrated UKPN's investment in their staff, their commitment to apprenticeships, and recognised the close relationship that ɫèAV TQ have formed with them as a training provider.Ìý
The 2025 event held special significance as an award was given in honour of Ginny Baker, a cherished colleague who sadly passed away last year. Many learners from her last cohort were also present, receiving their awards and celebrating their achievements.Ìý
Two noteworthy learners, Luke Shields and Emily Draper, received their awards at the event. Both Luke and Emily have shown remarkable growth, not only in their leadership qualities but also in their confidence. Completing the Level 5 Operations & Departmental Manager Apprenticeship has given them the skills and confidence to excel in their careers now and in the future.Ìý
Congratulations to all UKPN graduates – you should be very proud of your achievements.
